Guided motorcycle rides are also available for riders who want local insight and a fully curated experience.

International guests are strongly advised to carry travel insurance that covers motorcycle riding in the United States. InsureMyTrip is a comparison resource; coverage verification is the guest’s responsibility.

+ Riders must have proof of motorcycle endorsement and be at     least 25 years of age. 
+ Motorcycle rental insurance protection is required and                 available for an additional $15.00 per day
+ Rental riding gear is available in several sizes but limited             quantity, so we recommend to bring your own gear.  
+ All Adventure bikes are fully prepped, clean and ready for           either a one day, or multiple day rental. 
+ All have crash bar protection, soft pannier side bags, safety       kits, and a tool pack. 
+ GPS navigation
+ Our limited helmets include bluetooth connection and comms. 



 

Security Deposit & Bike Protection Policy

While we maintain full control over the rental process, riders are still responsible for the care and handling of the bike while in their possession. There will be a $25 dollar cleaning fee per motorcycle if bike has excessive mud. 

1. Security Deposit Requirement

  • A damage deposit hold is required before the rental begins.  

    • $1,000 (hold on CC) – Renter must purchases the $15/day insurance policy. 

  • The deposit is held on a credit card and released once the bike is returned in good condition. 

2. Purpose of the Security Deposit

The deposit covers:

  • Minor damages such as scratches, broken accessories, or excessive wear.

  • Loss of provided equipment or accessories.

  • Any violations of the rental agreement.

3. Refund Process

  • The deposit (hold) will not be charged to your card if no damage occurs.

  • If damage occurs, repair costs will be deducted from the $1000 deposit.

4. Required Insurance

  • All riders must purchase a daily insurance addendum from our provider before the rental.

  • Insurance helps cover major damages, but any deductibles or non-covered costs remain the rider's responsibility.

  • The deposit equals the deductible

  • Insurance kicks in after deductible

 5. International Riders
       A valid motorcycle license from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required. Riders must             meet age and experience requirements. Proof will be verified at pickup.

6. Motorcycle Damage, Recovery & Replacement Policy  

       If a rented motorcycle is damaged, disabled, or requires recovery during the rental period, additional                 charges may apply.

  • Recovery, towing, or pickup fees are calculated based on actual mileage from Cody, Wyoming, or from the nearest designated service location.

  • Charges may include transportation, labor, and any related recovery expenses.

  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be assessed accordingly.

 

7. Mechanical Issues Replacement / Refunds

       If a motorcycle becomes inoperable due to a mechanical issue not caused by rider error, we will                           support the rider in one of the following ways:

  • Provide a replacement motorcycle at a designated location, subject to availability
    OR

  • Issue a full refund if a replacement is not feasible

       Our goal is to ensure riders are not penalized for issues beyond their control and can ride with                           confidence.

8. Rider Responsibility

      Riders are expected to:

  • Operate the motorcycle responsibly and within their ability

  • Follow all traffic laws and posted regulations

  • Notify us immediately in the event of damage, mechanical issues, or an incident

 

9. Guided Tour Considerations

  • Bikes must be ridden responsibly and in accordance with the guide’s instructions at all times.

  • Any reckless riding, misuse, or failure to follow guide instructions may result in penalties or termination of the rental.

 

10Rental Motorcycles must remain within the Regional Boundary

      Rental motorcycles must remain within the regional boundary of Livingston MT, Billings MT, Worland WY,            and Dubois WY, including all roads within Yellowstone National Park. Travel beyond these limits requires            written approval from Yellowstone Adventure Moto.
